How Kymmy & Co. collects, uses, stores and removes personal information received through this website and its enquiry forms.
Who is responsible for your information?
Kymmy & Co. is an owner-operated Australian sewing and alterations business. Questions or requests about personal information can be sent through the contact page.
Do not send payment-card details, identity documents, medical information or other sensitive information through a website enquiry.
Information we may collect
Depending on the enquiry, the forms may ask for:
- your name and email address;
- an optional mobile number;
- your suburb or general location, if you choose to provide it;
- details about a garment, alteration, repair or proposed made-to-order item;
- an optional date you need the work completed, or timing details you include in your message.
If photographs are useful after an initial assessment, Kymmy may ask you to send them separately. A photograph may contain personal information, so remove faces, addresses, documents and other unnecessary details where practical.
Vercel may process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as an IP address, request time and browser information. The website does not require an account and does not use advertising trackers or non-essential cookies at launch.
Why information is collected
Information is used to:
- read and respond to your enquiry;
- assess whether Kymmy may be able to consider the work;
- discuss specifications, appointments, quotations and timing;
- keep necessary business and communication records;
- prevent misuse or spam; and
- meet legal, accounting or dispute-resolution obligations where applicable.
Submitting a form does not create an order, booking or obligation for Kymmy to accept the work.
Services involved
When you choose Send enquiry, the form submits the details you entered to the website’s Vercel function. When email delivery is configured and available, the function sends the enquiry through Resend to Kymmy’s business inbox. Vercel operates the website and function; Resend and the business email provider process the message for delivery. Resend says information may be transferred to and maintained on computers in the United States; see Resend’s privacy policy. These providers may process technical information as part of delivering and securing their services.
If the email service is unavailable, the form keeps your details in your browser and offers a message you can send to Kymmy through Instagram. The website does not claim that the enquiry was sent unless the email service accepts it.
Links to Etsy and social platforms take you to independent services. Information you provide to those services is governed by their privacy practices.
Kymmy & Co. does not sell enquiry information or use it for unrelated marketing. Information may be disclosed to a service provider where needed to operate the website or forms, or where disclosure is required or authorised by law.
Storage, access and deletion
Access to enquiry information is limited to people who need it for the purposes described above. Reasonable account security, including multifactor authentication where available, is used to protect it. Internet and email services cannot be guaranteed completely secure.
Records are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond to enquiries, manage accepted work, resolve concerns, or meet business, tax, warranty or legal obligations. Information that is no longer reasonably required will be deleted or de-identified where practical.
To ask what information is held about you, request a correction or request deletion where appropriate, use the contact page. Kymmy may need enough information to identify the relevant record.
Portfolio images are separate
Sending an image for assessment does not give permission to publish it. Kymmy obtains separate, recorded portfolio consent before using identifiable customer work publicly.
Changes and questions
This notice may be updated when forms, service providers, retention practices or website features change. The date above shows the latest published revision.
